Jakarta DPRD Commission A, asking SatpolPP to recount the needs of its personnel in the field. Considering the number of Satpol PP personnel is still less to enforce the bylaw in the capital.

Satpol PP is the mainstay of Jakarta Provincial Government, thus their needs must be recounted

According to Ramly HI Muhammad, Member of Jakarta DPRD Commission A, if it is required, additional Satpol PP personnel can be proposed.

"Satpol PP is the mainstay of Jakarta Provincial Government, thus their needs must be recounted," he expressed, at City Council building, Tuesday (9/26). 

Other members of Jakarta DPRD Commission A, Johi Adventus Hutapea, also agreed it. According to him, if the number is added, it can help manage traffic flow.

Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Yani Wahyu said, the current number is 4,950 personnel with details 3,304 civil servants and 1,646 non civil servants.

"We will conduct a study to count the ideal number of personnel needed, and now there are only 4,950 total members," he closed.
