Three BUMDs Demanded to Speed Up Asian Games Project

Jakarta DPRD Commission C, asked three regional-owned enterprises (BUMD) to speed up the Asian Games assignment project in the capital that will fall in 2018.

All the activities in the field related to the Asian Games must be accelerated

Those BUMDs are PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro), PT Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) and PT Jakarta Tourisindo.

"All the activities in the field related to the Asian Games must be accelerated," expressed James Arifin Sianipar, Secretary of Jakarta DPRD Commission C, Tuesday (9/26).

Principally, his party is supporting the proposed additional fund by Rp 3.5 trillion from PT Jakpro for the construction of Asian Games supporting infrastructure to be completed on time. Nevertheless, there must be a study to analyze the realization of work that has been done

"Our hope is these infrastructures can be used on time. We have to use the budget properly," he stressed.

At the same place, PT Jakpro President Director, Satya Heragandhi explained, additional budget is required to develop the Light Rapid Transit (LRT), Bike Velodrome, and Equestrian.

"Hopefully all can be realized. This is very urgent to be able to complete the work on time," he closed.
