Commission A and BKD Calculate Needs For Jakarta PNS

City Council Commission A and Regional Employment Board (BKD) held meeting to calculate needs for civil servants (PNS) in Jakarta.

Thus we ask 42 Jakarta SKPDs' needs for PNS

Because Jakarta Provincial Government still needs more PNS.

"Thus we ask 42 Jakarta SKPDs' needs for PNS," said William Yani, Vice Chairman of City Council Commission A, Thursday (9/28).

PNS Asked to Improve Their Integrity and Capability

According to him, PNS Jakarta number is around 69 thousand or one percent from total population 10.3 million people in 2016. His side considers needs for PNS must be balanced with provided service to 10.3 million people of Jakarta.

"Is it ideal with 69 thousand PNS? It must be calculated to get the right PNS number," he added.

Jakarta BKD Head, Agus Suradila admitted needs for PNS in Jakarta Provincial Government is urgent. Next year, 2,000 PNS to enter pension period. On the other side, Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucracy Reform (Kemenpan RB) have not decided to withdraw moratorium on PNS recruitment or not.

"Thus we are discussing with council to solve this problem. Whether the moratorium will be withdrawn or not, we must solve employees shortage using exist law," he closed.
