South Jakarta Water Resources Sub-dept. is preparing five steps to anticipate inundation in the upcoming rainy season.

South Jakarta Water Resources Sub-dept. Head, Holi Susanto said, rainfall intensity is predicted to occur up to by the end of this year. "As anticipatory, we have prepared five steps," he expressed, Friday (9/29).
Those five steps are by preparing taskforce on protocol roads that prone to inundation, cleaning gutters, dredging mud using excavator in the river or connecting channel, speed up repair of channel infrastructures, and install some pumps in every sub-district.
"The pump prepared will be spread in sub-districts prone to inundation," he stated.
Besides preparing pumps in every sub-district, his side also prepares 6 pumps to smoothen its installation in the field. In details, they are two mobile pumps, two atlas copco pumps, one dompleng pump and one trailer pump.
"By so, it is hoped able to minimize inundation in South Jakarta," he finished.
