Jakarta Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat inaugurated 18 health centers (puskesmas) and 2 type D Public Hospitals (RSUD) symbolically at Kramat Jati Puskesmas, Jl. Kerja Bakti, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta.

"Puskesmas is the health service's front line for public. Its task is not only heal the patients, but also conducts disease prevention," he said at the location, Wednesday (10/4).

According to him, with many puskesmas and type D RSUD, people will be not troubled to have health service. Especially to have hospitalization facility.

At the same place, Jakarta Health Dept. Head, Koesmedi Priharto said, health service in Jakarta will be improved since 13.1 percent from total City Budget is allocated for health.

"This year, there are four type D RSUDs and three type c RSUDs," he stated.

From those 18 puskesmas, 3 in Central Jakarta, four in North Jakarta, four in West Jakarta, two in South Jakarta, three in East Jakarta, one in Seribu Islands, and one in Kemayoran have been handled first.

Meanwhile, two RSUDs are located in Kebayoran Baru and Jati Padang. 

"These puskesmas and RSUD are prepared to improve outpatient and inpatient health service to public," he closed.
