All residents of Jakarta are targeted to have been participants of the BPJS Kesehatan in 2018.
Hospital and Health BPJS must Cooperate
Jakarta Social and Welfare Bureau Head, Adi Ariantara expressed, according to the rules, there has been Gubernatorial Instruction No. 109/2017 on the Acceleration of Population Registration on the National Health Insurance Program.
"We hope the urban village heads must be active to record their people. Thus, the acceleration program can run optimally," he stated, Thursday (10/5).
He explains, through the reconciliation that has been done with BPJS, it is expected all Jakarta people have been registered to participate BPJS Kesehatan by the end of next year.
"Thus far, around 2.5 million out of 10.3 million have not been registered in BPJS Kesehatan. We're optimistic, all residents have been registered next year," he expressed.
Meanwhile, Santoso, Sub-Division Head of Administration and Region Structure added the result of reconciliation between Jakarta Provincial Government and BPJS Kesehatan has resulted in a special application.
"The application can be used by the urban village head to check or register the residents to participate BPJS," he closed.
