Fish Auction Site Revitalization Reaches 61 Percent

Fish auction site revitalization progress at Fish Market, North Jakarta has reached 61 percent. It is targeted to be done in December.

Based on contract, it will be finished on December 12

Jakarta Maritime Agriculture and Food Tenacity (KPKP) Dept. Head, Darjamuni said, this revitalization budget is Rp 20 billion.

"Recent progress has reached 61 percent. Based on contract, it will be finished on December 12," he said, Saturday (10/7).

2017, Pasar Ikan Culture Heritage Building Restored

He is optimistic this project can be done on time. Until now, his side is still monitoring on the field continuously to make sure construction progress.  

"We are keep monitoring because we want this to be on time. From its work, it will finish on time. We do not want any time extension until next year. All must be done this year," he affirmed.

According to him, this year's construction just to build the physical. While for its interior and furniture will be continued next year. Later on, this location will be not used as fish auction site anymore but as museum.

"We will make this as a museum and equip it with fish auction pictures during Dutch period. There will be cafe too," he closed.
