PAL Jaya Ready to Help Communal IPAL Construction in RPTRAs

PD. PAL Jaya is ready to support communal wastewater treatment plant (IPAL) by utilizing Children-Friendly Integrated Public Space (RPTRA)'s basement.

PD. PAL Jaya Director, Subekti said, his side is ready to be involved or give assist
to build it."We are always ready to help IPAL construction in RPTRA areas when needed. Usually PAL Jaya will be also involved though the construction will be done by SDA Dept.," he said, Thursday (10/19).
Council Supports IPAL to Be Built on RPTRA's BasementSeparately, Jakarta SDA Dept. Head, Teguh Hendarwan added, communal IPAL will be constructed in RPTRA areas by SDA Dept. with PUPR Ministry.
"Communal IPAL is planned to start in 2018," he mentioned.
He explained, domestic wastewater management construction will use piping system to process grey water from dishwater and black water from feces.
"In concept, we use Anaerob-aerob system. Thus hopefully that wastewater could pass the standard for domestic waterwaste," he added.
For information, Jakarta Provincial Government will utilize 11 City RPTRAs basement for other public facility. This concept has been analized by Resilient City Team following the enactment for Jakarta as one of 100 Resilient Cities in the world.
Those 11 RPTRAs are Mardani RPTRA, Komando Ceria RPTRA, Sindang Raya RPTRA, Tunas Harapan RPTRA, Cambela RPTRA, Ramli RPTRA, Ceria RPTRA, Kemandoran RPTRA, Muara Condet RPTRA, Ciracas RPTRA, and Pulau Kelapa RPTRA.
