Anies-Sandi Officially Meet BJ Habibie

Mr,. Habibie is a person who concerns the education and culture of the nation

Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan and his partner, Sandiaga Uno, took their time to visit the third Indonesian President, Bacharuddin Jusuf (BJ) Habibie at his residence, Jalan Patra Kuningan, Setiabudi, South Jakarta.

In that occasion, Anies assessed, armed with experience and insight, Habibie knows true fundamental problem from local, national, and global perspective.

Anies-Sandi Now Officially Lead Jakarta

"Mr,. Habibie is a person who concerns the education and culture of the nation. Thus, meeting him becomes something that we think is very useful," he disclosed, Wednesday (10/25).

According to him, the meeting also discussed the importance of regional development direction, which can be the basis in arranging the direction of national level development.

"Herein we did compose the RPJMD (mid-term regional development plan), and he tells us about the importance of such a plan. Thus, all programs can be realized with good plan direction and as needed," he expressed.

Sandi added Mr. Habibie is a figure attached to the world of technology. Jakarta with a highly developed technology needs to be at the forefront.

To Anies-Sandi, Habibie reminded about the importance of human resource quality improvement, has the direction of regional development, resilience and national culture.

"Development of human resources should be deemed as the forerunner of the nation's future," he explained.
