Marunda Will Have Coastal Shipping And Multipurpose Pier in 2019

The State-owned PT Kawasan Berikat Nusantara (PT KBN) is targeting the coastal shipping and multipurpose pier in Marunda, North Jakarta can already operate in 2019.

Rp 1.3 trillion will be spent to make the coastal shipping multipurpose pier

PT KBN President Director, Muhammad Sattar Taba expressed, the pier construction will be executed in the forthcoming December 2017. It will be built on a 1,200-square-meter width with eight meters depth.

"Rp 1.3 trillion will be spent to make the coastal shipping and multipurpose pier," he stated, Thursday (10/26).

Commission C Visit KBN to Discuss About Dividend

He explained its operation is projected to minimize the loading and unloading time of goods to the dwelling time and to suppress operational costs.

"Besides Tanjung Priok Port, the loading and unloading process can be done here," he stated.

He added the operation also has a positive impact towards the increase of labor absorption and the economy of local people.

"The construction of this pier will provide an additional dividend for Jakarta Provincial Government in accordance with share ownership that reached 26.85 percent," he closed.
