Entering Rainy Season, E. Jakarta Begins to Be Wary of Six Inundation-Prone Points

East Jakarta Administration is wary of six inundation-prone points in its territory during the rainy season this year.

"There are six points that need to be monitored, as Ciliwung River and Sunter River normalization is unoptimal," expressed Bambang Mushawardana, Mayor of East Jakarta, Friday (10/27).

Bambang mentioned, those inundation-prone areas that must be watched in the flow of Ciliwung River are at Gg. Arus RW 05 Cililitan, Kebon Pala Kampung Melayu and Bidara Cina. While points in the flow of Sunter River, are RW 03 and 04 Cipinang Melayu, Pondok Bambu and Cipinang Muara.

"To do anticipation, we are inventorying equipments in all units involved in handling floods, including basic needs and logistics," he closed.
