Crossing Built By SDA Dept. on Jl. Tanah Tinggi Barat

Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Dept. builds waterway crossing on Jalan Tanah Tinggi Barat, Kalibaru, Senen, Central Jakarta.

We will build crossing in two sides, on east side and south side

This crossing construction is done by Yon Bekang Complex residents' request.

Jakarta SDA Dept.'s Operation and East Flow System Maintenance Head, Adrian Mara Maulana said, the area is usually inundated and flooded since its waterway is too small.

Water Channel will Be Made in Kodamar TNI AL Complex

"We will build crossing in two sides, on east side and south side that will be installed with water pump to anticipate flood and inundation," he said, Monday (10/30).

He targets the construction could be finished within 17 days. Two excavators have been deployed to the location.

Besides crossing, his side will dredge channel with 1.5 meters depth. Water way will be also widened from 60 centimeters to 1.2 meters.

"Crossing will be built with 11.5 meters long. We will install box culvert size 100x100," he informed.

He added, currently the construction is constrained due to many utilities. Though, his side is optimistic to finish work on time.

"We have inform utility owner sides. We want those utilities to be relocated," he closed.
