North Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-dept. builds three waterways on Jalan Kapuk Raya, Kapuk Kamal Urban Village, Penjaringan to prevent inundation.

North Jakarta SDA Sub-dept. Head, Santo said, those waterways have 9 meters, 12 meters, and 16 meters long. While for its construction will use concrete from manufacturer with 1 meter diameter.

"We build three waterways at once to avoid inundation on Jalan Kapuk Raya. We also dredge PHB channel on Jalan Kapuk Raya," he said, Friday (11/3).

PHB channel dredging is done from Vooglar to ring road or near Cengkareng Drain River. Along these four kilometers, channel is dredged using three heavy equipment.

"It is targeted it to finish by the end of this November. It needs to be dredged since it is full of trash," he closed.
