Central Jakarta Forestry Sub-dept. is planting 250 trees on the Sentiong Riverbank through Senen Sub-district and Kemayoran Sub-district.
Ini untuk memperindah estetika kota dan menambah cantik bantaran Kali Sentiong. Kita kerahkan 125 petugas gabungan dan juga warga untuk penanamannya
"These trees have six kilometers length," expressed Sabdo Kurnianto, Head of Central Jakarta Forestry Sub-dept., Monday (11/6).
Those urban villages crossed are Bungur Urban Village in Senen Sub-district, Harapan Mulia Urban Village, Utan Panjang Urban Village and Kebon Kosong Urban Village in Kemayoran Sub-district. Types of trees planted are trembesi, angsana and glodogan.
Two Months, 16,742 Trees in North Jakarta Planted
"This aims to embellish the aesthetics of the city and add to the beautiful of Sentiong River. We have 125 joint officers and also residents to do tree planting," he closed.
