Commission C Wants BUMDs to Increase Dividend Payment

City Council Commission C wants BUMDs to increase amount of dividends paid to Jakarta Provincial Government.

Mostly all BUMDs have contribution in giving dividend

Collected dividends from BUMDs are needed to increase Local Revenue (PAD) and support financing for Jakarta development.

Commission C Member, Cinta Mega said, most of BUMDs are routinely paid dividend in various amounts to City Government. Her side wants a significant growth on dividend which is paid every year.

" Mostly all BUMDs have contribution in giving dividend . But it should be increased year by year thus PAD could be increased," she expressed, Wednesday (11/8).

Jakarta BUMD's Coaching Board Head, Yurianto said, amount of paid dividends to regional cash reaches Rp 465.8 billion in 2017. From that amount, the highest dividend value is Rp 193 billion.

"Next year, it is targeted that total dividends to reach Rp 536 billion. Amount of dividends paid must be increased each years," he closed.
