Council Wants BKD to Review Shortage of ASN

Jakarta DPRD's Commission A, asked Jakarta Employment Agency (BKD) to review the shortage of the number of State Civil Apparatus (ASN) in several regional working units (SKPD).

"Because we do not want deficiencies that can interfere with performance," expressed Mohammad Taufik, Coordinator of Jakarta DPRD's Commission A, Wednesday (11/8).

According to him, if it has an impact on service, his side will encourage Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucracy Reform (Kemenpan RB) to open recruitment of ASN in the capital.

"If this does not interfere with service, we'll see," he exclaimed.

Responding on this matter, Jakarta BKD Head, Agus Suradika assured the number of ASN is currently already sufficient, despite there are almost 4,000 ASN retired every year.

"If there is a lack of formation, we will immediately do the switching function from some personnel from other SKPDs," he closed.
