Dishub Prepares Special Lane For Asian Games

Jakarta Transportation Dept. Dishub will prepare special lane for athletes who participate in Asian Games 2018 .
There are 72 points of athletes' hotels and match venues
This lane is prepared to ensure athletes not to come late for their match.
Jakarta Dishub Head, Andri Yansyah said, his side is assigned to escort Asian Games athletes from hotel to each match venues.
Another Coordination Meeting for Asian Games Preparation is Held
"There are 72 points of athletes' hotels and match venues. We need to escort their movement and ensure them not to walkout because of traffic jam," he explained at City Council Building, Wednesday (11/8).
He mentioned, his side will set layer on the road for special lane. Thus when athletes want to across, other vehicles could open the way.
"We will use special layer on road for athletes. This is applied in China also thus athletes will not late due to traffic jam," he said.
He added this policy is asked by Indonesian Asian Games 2018 Organizing Committee (INASGOC). Besides, his side also prepares budget Rp 35 billion to buy Dept. Operational Vehicles (KDO) to escort athletes.
