Sekretaris River and Pesanggrahan River along Kebon Jeruk Sub-district, West Jakarta is hoped could be normalized in 2018. It is aimed to minimize flood in several Kebon Jeruk areas.

Kebon Jeruk Sub-district Head, Abdulah mentioned several urban villages which are prone to flood in Kebon Jeruk are Sukabumi Selatan, Sukabumi Utara, and Kelapa Dua. It happens, because of narrowed Sekretaris River.
"Flood in Kedoya Utara, Kedoya Selatan, and Kebon Jeruk are also happened, because Pesanggrahan River is not normalized yet," he stated, Wednesday (11/15).
First Phase Normalization of Krukut River Will Focus on River DeepeningHe explained, both rivers have been planned to be normalized since 2012.
"Hopefully it can be realized next year. Moreover we have got positive response from local people on this matter," he said.
