PT KAI Involved in Arrangement of Tanah Abang

Jakarta Provincial Government is about to invite PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) in arranging Tanah Abang area, Central Jakarta.

This is a multi-stakeholder collaboration concept

Sandiaga Uno, Deputy of Jakarta Governor expressed, he already has the concept of medium-term arrangement for Tanah Abang area. Further, it will be presented to PT KAI.

"We have written to PT KAI as a form of hope from the city, thus they want to collaborate in this arrangement. We already have the concept, don't worry," he stated, Monday (11/20).

He explained the presentation would be presented in the form of three dimensions (3D) that visualize the movement of people around Tanah Abang.

"There is a traffic visualization of people in the Tanah Abang. We will arrange by not deleting 300,000 micro-business actors there," he expressed.

He added, the major concept is prioritizing pedestrians, ensuring permanent jobs, encouraging economy, and ensuring integrated transport systems.

"This is a multi-stakeholder collaboration concept," he closed.
