Sufficient Rice Stock Until New Year

Jakarta Vice Governor, Sandiaga Uno ensures sufficient rice stock for Christmas and New Year needs.

He appreciates PT. Food Station Tjipinang Jaya (FSTJ) and food team for their anticipative effort in stocking rice towards Christmas and New Year needs.

"We make sure rice stock is sufficient and has a stable price," he said after surveying PT. FSTJ, on Jalan Pisangan Lama Selatan, East Jakarta, Saturday (11/25).

Rice Sales For PNS Targeted to Increase

He explained, Bina Marga Dept, will repair road infrastructure in Cipinang Rice Market Central (PIBC) area. While Water Resources (SDA) Dept. will repair its water channel and plaster.

"For now, PT. FSTJ has repaired around 500 meters of the road ," he added.

Meanwhile, PT. FSTJ Director, Arief Prasetyo Adi informed, there are 45 thousand tons of rice. Rice will be added regularly to maintain the stock.

"We coordinate with Bulog, Agriculture Ministry and Trade Ministry regularly to maintain the stabilization until massive harvest around two months ahead," he said.

His side is welcoming City plan to assign related department to repair infrastructures in PIBC.

"All of the time, our problem is in infrastructure," he closed.
