Around 10 sport halls (GOR) began to be renovated to welcome the 2018 Asian Games.

Ratiyono stated, renovation is done by not dismantling the existing building, but replacing and repairing the floor, lights, tribunes and toilets.
"We did not unpack it all. It's just the floor that is peeled and reassembled, and then continued to tribunes, toilets, and lights. But if the roof is damaged, we will repair it also," he told.
Those GORs are Pulogadung, Cempaka Putih, Sunter, Soemantri Brodjonegoro, Bulungan, Ragunan, Senen, West Jakarta, North Jakarta and East Jakarta.
