Jalan Batu Tumbuh Collapsed

Part of Jalan Batu Tumbuh which located at RT 09/04, Tugu Selatan Urban Village, Koja, North Jakarta has collapsed. Vehicles crossing the road must line up due to this incident.

Saeful (35), a local resident said rumbling sound was heard on Monday (11/27) night at 12 AM. Some people saw the part of asphalt road already collapsed.

" There was a cracked before. Then at night I heard a sound and after checked it, I found it has collapsed . There is no victim since the road is deserted," he explained, Tuesday (11/28).

Koja Sub-district Head, Yusuf Majid and his subordinates has conducted survey to the location together with related unit to make sure handling can be done faster. The length of collapsed road is around 30 meters with 1-1.5 meters wide and 1 meter depth.

"We coordinate with related unit to handle it. The cracked road was already surveyed by related agency," he said.

According to him, half of the road is still can be used for vehicles but it must line up because only one lane that can be used. Because from total 5 meters wide, remaining available road is only 3-3.5 meters.

Flower pots on the road side also fell. Collapsed point is in line with Cakung Lama River and located inside settlement area.
