Sandi Surveys Aquatic Venue

"I have survey this venue for many times. Now I try the lane because it will be used for test event for the first time tonight," he mentioned, at the location, Tuesday (12/5).

According to him, the aquatic venue is well prepared, either from infrastructures or other supporting facilities. It is hoped it would create more talented athletes in aquatic branch.

"We're optimistic there is athlete who will be breaking the world record in here. It is very possible for a swimmer to break the record in GBK swimming pool since we made it exactly the same as the Olympic standard," he expressed.

He also appreciates GBK management that has provided the world-class venue in Jakarta. In the future, Jakarta Government will be ready to support GBK maintenance.

"This venue's quality will be lowered if it is not maintained well," he said.
