Women and Children Violence Complaint Service Launched

Jakarta Provincial Government through Jakarta Empowerment Children Protection and Population Control Dept. (DPPAPP) has launched women and children violence complaint service.

It is provided by aiming to give emergency service towards case of violence against women and children

For citizen who wants to report can contact via Call Center 112.

Jakarta PPAPP Dept. Head, Dien Emmawati said, the service is integrated with Call Center Jakarta Siaga 112 service. Yesterday's afternoon, it was inaugurated by Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan at City Hall.

Council Supports Anti Violence Against Women and Children Socialization

"It is provided by aiming to give emergency service towards case of violence against women and children," she explained, at City Hall, Thursday (12/7).

She mentioned, complaint will be followed up by Polda Metro Jaya's Child and Women Protection (PPA) Unit and Women and Child Empowerment Integrated Service Center Unit (UPT P2TP2A). Later on, citizen will get counseling and legal aid.

Not only that, she continued, violence victims will be given medical report and health recovery service from hospital and puskesmas, including safe house service for violence victims provided by Social Dept.

"There are some help from related SKPDs such as BPBD with 112 units, Health Dept. for hospital facility, and Social Department for safe house facility," she expressed.

For information, Jakarta Siaga Call Center 112 is a free hotline service. It is coordinated by Jakarta BPBD to smoothen the complaint service.
