In 2017, Central Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Sub-dept. has issued 26,256 birth certificates. Kemayoran Sub-district holds the highest birth number in the area.
We encourage residents who have not register for birth certificate to immediately register it
"It is noted there are 26,256 birth certificates by early of December. We noted the highest is in Kemayoran with 7,757 birth numbers," informed Remon Mastadian, Head of Central Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Sub-dept., Sunday (12/10).
In Tanah Abang Sub-district is noted 4,283 birth numbers, Johar Baru 3,106 births; Senen 2,692 births; Cempaka Putih 2,381 births; Sawah Besar 2,104 births; Gambir 2,099 births and Menteng 1,834 births.
City Provides Birth Registration Online Service"We encourage residents who have not register for birth certificate to immediately register it in urban village and sub-district office since it can be obtained for free," he conveyed.
