Satpol PP together with Jakarta Small Medium Enterprises Cooperation and Trade (KUKMP) Dept. organizes merchants in Sudirman-Thamrin car free day (HBKB), Sunday (12/10).

We provide four spots

Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Yani Wahyu Purwoko said his side is not chasing or controlling them as usual, but only organizing them in a proper place.

"We are only organizing. We ask merchants who are selling on roadside not disturb people who want to exercise by moving in the provided places during HBKB," he affirmed.

Meanwhile, Jakarta KUKMP Dept. Head, Irwandi admitted his side is only assisting Satpol PP. Besides, his side has provided place for merchants.

"We provide four spots located on the road near Grand Indonesia, Jalan Sumenep, Jalan Teluk Betung, and Jalan Sunda," he informed.

According to him, more than 100 merchants can be placed in each spots. Thus it is supposed to be enough to accommodate merchants during HBKB.

"More than 100 merchants can be placed in one spot. Thus I hope merchant to not sell on the roadside," he said.
