40 Ancol People Undergo Fire Training

Around 40 local people living in RW 05, Ancol Urban Village, Pademangan, North Jakarta, participated in fire training. Besides theory, they were also taught how to extinguish the fire with portable fire extinguishers (Apar).

Fire training is aimed to inject fire prevention skills to them

According to Satriadi Gunawan, Head of North Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-dept., they were from RT/RW caretakers, housewives, and Karang Taruna.

"Fire training is aimed to inject fire prevention skills to them," he told, Monday (12/11).

150 Students in Seribu Islands Given Fire Training

Herein, they were hoped could be more vigilant and able to reduce fire potential in North Jakarta. 

Rohana (42), one of locals admitted that she was happy and positively welcoming the training. By so, she and her colleagues would have knowledge about fire prevention and handling techniques.

"At least we do not panic, so we can think of putting out the fire quickly," she uttered.
