W. Jakarta Proposes Water Channel Repair in 277 Spots

West Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-dept. proposes 277 water channels maintenance and repair in Budget 2018.

Channel repair budget consists of Rp 90 billion for maintenance and Rp 150 billion for development

West Jakarta SDA Sub-dept. Head, Imron Syahrin said the proposal is resident request from Musrenbang result and City Council recess during 2017.

"Later on, we will survey to ensure if it is needed to be maintained or developed. Then budget planning will be compiled and do the task next year," he explained, Monday (12/11).

Water Channel on Jalan Menteng Raya Dredged

He added, maintenance or development budget for water channels in West Jakarta is allocated around 240 billion in APBD 2018.

"Channel repair budget consists of Rp 90 billion for maintenance and Rp 150 billion for development. Development budget is used to pay wages for freelance, then retaining wall, U Ditch installment, and pump procurement," he stated.
