Rorotan Slaughterhouse (RPH), Cilincing, North Jakarta, construction has reached 95 percent. It is targeted to complete on December 20 ahead.

"We hope construction to complete soon thus relocation can be accelerated. This will be used to accommodate poultry traders in Marunda," said Husein Murad, North Jakarta Mayor, when surveying the location, Wednesday (12/13).

RPH is built above 4,557 square meters land. It will be built 34 poultry shelters with 9 square meters each. It is considered to accommodate 200 chickens.

Besides, there will be four manual abattoir and semi-auto abattoir. This building will be also equipped with food court, toilet, and office.

Meanwhile, Jakarta Maritime Agriculture and Food Tenacity (KPKP) Dept.'s Poultry and Animal Health Division Head, Sri Hartati informed, its inauguration is planned in January 2018 and it is start to operate in February.

"Rorotan RPH cons truction has reached 95 percent with budget around Rp 10.7 billion," she added.
