Anies Invites Vehicle Owners to Participate in Emission Test

Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan invites vehicle owners to participate in a free emission test which is conducted on Jalan Benyamin Sueb, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta. This emission test will be held at 3 PM and targets to test 2,500 vehicles.

He said, emission test is important to reduce air pollution in Jakarta. People are hoped to be aware of their vehicle's emission gas by conducting this test.

In that chance, he also tests his car, Toyota Inova with license plat B 1975 RFK. The result, his car is passed the emission test.

Jakarta Government operational cars, including 50 school buses are also running the test.

Jakarta Environment Dept. Head, Isnawa Adji added, traffic jam caused by recent infrastructure construction increases air pollution in Jakarta.

Thus, his side holds emission test to ensure vehicle's emission is under the limit.

"We cooperate with 218 workshops to conduct emission test," he mentioned.
