Sudirman-Thamrin Building Management Asked to Open Parking Access

Jakarta Transportation Dept. (Dishub) asked management of building located near Monas and Jalan Sudirman-Thamrin to open parking access for new year's eve event.

Jakarta Dishub Deputy Head, Sigit Wijatmoko mentioned, his side will make sure no vehicles parked on the road, especially around Monas.

"We will try our best to manage the parking," he conveyed, Wednesday (12/27).

Later on, his side will inform building management to open its parking lot on new year's eve since many events will be held along Jalan MH Thamrin.

"There are bazaar, entertainment stage, culinary, and mass wedding," he added.

He said, around 15 buildings could provide parking lot for the event. His side also prepares two parking lots in Blok M and Jalan Cengkeh.

His side encourages people who want to celebrate new year's eve event at Monas to use Transjakarta bus to reduce number of vehicles heading to the location.
