Dishub encourages people who want to celebrate new year's eve on Jalan Sudirman-Thamrin and Monas to use Transjakarta.
Jakarta Transportation Dept.'s Deputy Head, Sigit Wijatmoko mentioned, Car Free Night service will be provided on new year's eve along Jalan MH Thamrin. His side has prepared traffic engineering for this transport.

His side also anticipates if there is a road that can't be crossed. He plans to operate Transjakarta bus in corridor 1 (Blok M-Kota route) in two routes.
Bus from Blok M will serve until Bundaran Hotel Indonesia (HI). While other routes will serve from Kota to Monas or Harmoni Shelter.
"We also provide parking lots by the end of bus corridors, such as Blok M and Jalan Cengkeh to encourage people to use public transportation," he stated.
