Council Requested Optimized Job Training For Youth

City Council requested Regional Job Training Center (PPKD) to optimize work training activities for youth.

City Council Commission A Vice Chairman, William Yani hopes youth productivity in Jakarta could be improved through skill training and coaching.

"In my opinion, skill training and coaching for youths are needed to be optimized," he mentioned, Wednesday (1/3).

According to him, optimized job training could prevent youths from narcotics misuse.

"More importantly, it could suppress unemployment rate in Jakarta," he stated.

According to him, there are many skills that can be shared to youths. Such as mechanical engineering, shirt printing and design, computer, mobile phone repair service, and air conditioner (AC) repair training.

"Besides, they are also needed information technology (IT) and graphic design training to make them up to date," he said.
