Jakarta Provincial Government is looking to kick off Sunter Lake Festival in North Jakarta in the forthcoming February. Various preparations have been conducted, such as lake cleaning.

Jakarta Youth and Sport Dept. Head, Ratiyono disclosed preparation has been ongoing. Herein, there would be several SKPDs involved.
Sunter Lake in Tanjung Priok Cleaned"All preparations like cleanliness, safety and its water clarity have been available. By so, everything will be fine when the lake is used," he expressed, Thursday (1/4).
He mentioned, those SKPDs involved are Water Resources Dept., Environment Dept., and North Jakarta Mayor. Besides athlete, Jakarta Deputy Governor, Sandiaga Uno would also participate in swimming race at Sunter Lake.
"Some athletes will also participate. The name of festival is open water swimming," he stated.
