West Jakarta Secretary, Eldi Andi visits Rawa Belong Flower Market, Sukabumi Utara, Kebon Jeruk, Wednesday (1/24). This visit was aimed to prepare National Clean and Healthy Environment (LBS) Competition 2018.

I have instructed Environment Sub-dept. to socialize about waste bank

"Sukabumi Utara Urban Village appointed as Jakarta representative in clean and healthy environment competition at national level. We want to survey and meet Agriculture Product Certification and Promotion Center Unit to make area near Rawa Belong Market becomes clean and healthy," he explained, Wednesday (1/24).

He mentioned, West Jakarta Government plans to arrange this market by creating waste banks thus its environment cleanliness could be maintained.

"Market management commits to create waste bank. I have instructed Environment Sub-dept. to socialize about waste bank," he added.

He mentioned, waste volume in Rawa Belong Flower Market is around 2 tons per day.

"Through waste bank, I hope about 30 percent of waste could become money," he expressed.
