Sandi Launches Kelurahan Sadar Jaminan Sosial Ketenagakerjaan

Jakarta Vice Governor, Sandiaga Uno launched Kelurahan Sadar Jaminan Sosial Ketenagakerjaan at Taman Sawo RPTRA, Cipete Utara Urban Village, Kebayoran, South Jakarta.

We want to realize social security of labor for all Jakartans

Sandi explained, this program is collaboration between Jakarta Provincial Government with BPJS Ketenagakerjaan (Social Security of Labor). It is hoped all Jakartans to have social security, especially for labor.

"We want to realize social security of labor for all Jakartans," he said, Sunday (1/28).

Anies Appreciates Coordination Meeting About BPJS Ketenagakerjaan

He expressed, poverty can happen if someone gets work accident or experiences risk outside of work. Thus, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan is needed as an anticipation.

"Social security is able to prevent poverty and improve welfare," he conveyed.

Meanwhile, Jakarta BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Deputy Director, Ahmad Hafiz welcomes Jakarta Provincial Government's intention to open and support acceleration of social security. Because there are still 7.5 million people who haven't registered in BPJS Ketenagakerjaan.

"Governor and vice governor really support us to accelerate this program," he expressed.

He added, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan has prepared some activities to support acceleration of this program.

"Social security program can help our people from poverty," he stated.
