Dakota PHB Channel Dredged in Kemayoran

Central Jakarta Water Resources Sub-dept. dredged Dakota PHB channel, Kemayoran. It is to prevent inundation especially in Kompleks Angkasa residential.

"Firstly, we dredge channel leads to Jl. Dakota and then channel that leads to Kompleks Angkasa," informed Dicky Suherlan, Head of Central Jakarta Water Resources Sub-dept., Monday (1/29).

He mentioned, this channel has 100 meters long, 1.5 meters wide and 2 meters depth. "One excavator is deployed to dredge the mud faster," he added.

He targets to finish this dredging in one week. Because his side needs to dismantle many resid ents driveways before dredging.
