Joint Personnel Net 304 Vehicles on Jl. Basuki Rahmat

Joint personnel netted 304 vehicles around Gembrong Maret, Jalan Basuki Rahmat, Cipinang Besar Selatan, Jatinegara, East Jakarta. Mostly it was caused by illegal parking.

East Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. (Sudinhub)'s Monitoring and Controlling Section Head, Slamet Dahlan said, operation was held due to many illegal parking vehicles on that road. This condition caused traffic jam.

"We control vehicles parked on roadside. Not only causing traffic jam, but it also disturb public orders," he stated, Wednesday (1/31).

Illegal Parking, 25 Vehicles in Matraman Netted

He explained, 140 motorcycles, 9 bajajs, and 12 cars were flattened. Then 8 cars towed, 30 vehicles were ticketed by Sudinhub personnel, and 115 vehicles were ticketed by police.

"There are 60 personnel from Sudinhub, TNI, and police. We will keep controlling vehicles that violate the rules, especially illegal parking," he affirmed.
