Last Year, City's Investment Realization Increased

Total investment last year with total PMDN and PMA has exceeded Rp 108.6 trillion

Throughout 2017, the realization of investment in Jakarta has exceeded Rp 108.6 trillion. Its amount increased 84.7 percent than the same period last year by Rp 58.8 trillion.

Edy Junaedi, Head of Jakarta Investment and One-Stop Integrated Service (DPM and PTSP) said, the investment value is obtained in accordance with data from Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM).

Saudi Arabia Businessmen Interested to Invest in Jakarta

It has been noted that the realization of domestic investment (PMDN) by Rp 47.3 trillion. While for the foreign direct investment (PMA) is amounting to USD 4.6 billion or Rp 61.3 trillion. 

"Total investment last year with total PMDN and PMA has exceeded Rp 108.6 trillion, its amount increased than last year," he expressed, Friday (2/2). 

He conveyed, this achievement is very proud for Jakarta people. Considering, the investment value this time was recorded as the highest in Indonesia and the first time in the history of Jakarta.

"In 2012-2016, the investment realization of Jakarta is always below West Java," he said.

It is almost twice exceeding the target of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) investment realization in 2017 that has been set at Rp 55 trillion by Jakarta Provincial Government.

"This is in line with mission of 2018-2022 Mid-Term Regional Development Plan (RPJMD)," he stated.
