Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan always reminds residents for not throwing trash to the rivers. He mentioned this thing while monitoring Manggarai Floodgate on Jl. Tambak, Menteng, Central Jakarta, around 7 PM, Monday (2/5).

He explained, that was the second time his side monitored Manggarai Floodgate yesterday. His side wanted to ensure updated condition of water level since water in Katulampa Dam, Bogor keeps increasing.
"Water level in Manggarai Floodgate until 4 PM is in position 780 centimeters high. Currently it reaches 840 centimeters high or Alert 3," he informed.
According to him, if water level has reached 850-950 centimeters then its stats upgraded into Alert 2.
"All floodgates are on guard and monitored continuously," he added.
He instructed all subordinates to monitor it continuously to stay alert if water level arises above 950 centimeters or on Alert 1.
"We should be updated and respond
it fast. Because current water flow is getting bigger," he mentioned.
