Sandi Inspects MRT Construction Progress in A Morning Run

Jakarta Vice Governor, Sandiaga Uno conducted his routine morning run this Friday from his house on Jl. Pulombangkeng, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, to City Hall, Jl. Medan Merdeka Selatan, Gambir, Central Jakarta. While going through Jl. Sudirman, he inspected Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) project.

He said, he wanted to ensure MRT project to be completed on time. Thus in August, Asian Games could be performed well.

"I check MRT preparation to ensure the work is completely done before Asian Games. Because we want Jl. Sudirman traffic to be normal in June," he explained at City Hall, Friday (2/9).

July 2018, First Phase MRT Trial Conducted

He mentioned, MRT can accommodate citizen needs for fast and comfort transportation. Including foreign tourist and athletes that will visit Jakarta in Asian Games.

"We also want PT. MRT to be a leading sector in beautifying main road because many athletes, officials and tourists will use that road," he conveyed.
