City-Tangerang Regency Cooperate for Drinking Water Supply

Jakarta Provincial Government and Tangerang Regency have agreed for cooperation in drinking water supply. Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan and Tangerang Regent, Ahmed Zaki Iskandar, City Hall. 

We need a regular-guaranteed drinking water supply

Anies said, through PDAM Tirta Kerta Raharja (PDAM TKR), Tangerang Regency will supply 2,800 liters per second drinking water for 20 years ahead.

"We need a regular-guaranteed drinking water supply. Thank you for this cooperation," he mentioned, Tuesday (2/12).

Utility Network Arrangement MoU will Be Signed This Week

He hopes this cooperation could develop new innovation in providing drinking water. Because drinking water and clean water will be necessary for the next generations.

"It needs sustainable development. I want related SKPDs to have further plan based on this MoU," he stated.

Meanwhile, Tangerang Regent, Ahmed Zaki Iskandar wants his side to cooperate with Jakarta Provincial Government in other sectors.

Not only for clean water or drinking water supply, but we also want to expand our cooperation to boost community welfare in Jakarta and Tangerang Regency.
