Jakarta Transportation Dept. is about to integrate bike tracks with integrated areas or Transit Oriented Development (TOD).

"It's being formulated thus the pattern of transportation development and its space can be integrated with TOD, including bike track," expressed Sigit Wijatmoko, Vice Head of Jakarta Transportation Dept., Wednesday (2/14).
City Reviews Proposal About Additonal Bike TrackHe delivered the current bike track that has been built in the capital reaches 26 kilometers. The longest track is in the East Flood Canal (BKT) area with a total of 17 kilometers.
Its development has entered into this year's Transport Master Plan.
"Our job is to complete the Master Plan, where the bike lane is part of the plan," he said.
