306 Vehicles Prepared to Support Asian Games

Jakarta Transportation Dept. (Dishub) prepares 306 vehicles to support Asian Games event in Jakarta on August 18, 2018.

This preparation is done because Dishub will be the Transportation Director in Asian Games

Jakarta Dishub Deputy Head, Sigit Wijatmoko explained, those 306 vehicles are 177 units of 250 cc motorcycle, 34 units of 500-650 cc motorcycle, and 2 units of 1,000 cc motorcycle.

Personnel Alerted During Test Event Asian Games

Then, 45 minibuses, 4 jeeps, and 44 towing trucks with capacity 5 tons per unit. These vehicles will be operated during Asian Games event, even to the sub-district areas.

"This preparation is done because Dishub will be the Transportation Director in Asian Games," he informed, Thursday (2/15).

According to him, these vehicles will not only be used for evacuation but also to escort Asian Games athletes during match in Jakarta.

"We deploy all equipment and human resources that we have. We prepare all of it," he mentioned.
