Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan wishes Happy Chinese New Year for Jakartans who celebrate it.

Once more, Happy Chinese New Year. Hopefully it will bring prosperity to Jakartans

"I wish Happy Chinese New Year, Gong Xi Fa Cai," he expressed at Dharma Bakti Vihara, on Jl Kemenangan III, Kelurahan Glodok, Taman Sari, West Jakarta, Friday (2/16).

In this visit, he wanted to remind his last visit to Dharma Bakti Vihara after it has been renovated after fire incident in 2015. "I am grateful this worship place still can be used until now," he conveyed.

According to him, he routinely visits this oldest Vihara in Jakarta with his children. "I want them to understand historical values and experience cross cultural by themselves," he explained.  

After visiting Dharma Bakti Vihara, he invites his family to shop in Petak Sembilan area to gain their cultural insight.

"Once more, Happy Chinese New Year. Hopefully it will bring prosperity to Jakartans," he said.
