Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan is optimistic to complete all supporting infrastructures for Asian Games XVIII in Jakarta on time.
All venues under Jakarta Provincial Government responsibility are running on schedule
He informed, Velodrome venue construction reaches 83 percent, Equestrian is 99 percent, BMX venue is 60 percent, and Light Rail Transit (LRT) Phase I Kelapa Gading-Rawamangun route reaches 60 percent.
Asian Games Special Edition Stamp Launched"All venues under Jakarta Provincial Government responsibility are running on schedule," he informed after attending Coordination Meeting for Asian Games 2018 Preparation together with Indonesia Vice President, Jusuf Kalla, at Inasgoc Building, Jl. Pintu 1 Senayan, Central Jakarta, Monday (2/19).
He explained, Jakarta Government also prepares some sports arena (GOR) for volley and basketball athletes to train. "We have realized training facilities faster than our target," he expressed.
He added, train for LRT will be received in April and hopefully it could be installed at least in June. "We target it operates in July," he mentioned.
