Traffic Engineering Applied During Cipinang Lonter Flyover Trial

Trial on Cipinang Lontar flyover, East Jakarta, starts today. East Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. (Sudinhub) has prepared traffic engineering for roads around the area.

"We will apply traffic engineering today since Cipinang Lontar flyover is opened for trial. If flyover operational will be applied permanently, then this traffic engineering will be also permanent," stated Andreas Eman, Head of East Jakarta Sudinhub, Tuesday (2/27).

Commission D Monitored Cipinang Lontar Flyover Construction

According to him, vehicles from Cipinang Rice Central Market can't directly turn right on traffic light in front of Mabes Polri Logistic. Vehicles should turn left first then turn around in next traffic light in front of Pulogadung Mapolsek.

"Especially for large truck from Cipinang Central Market direction is not allowed to turn around in front of Pulogadung Mapolsek. Truck should turn left to Rawamangun through Jalan Pemuda," he informed.

For vehicles from Klender that want to go to Cipinang Central Market also can't directly turn right. It should turn around under flyover.

Vehicles from Cipinang Jaya to Jalan I Gusti Ngurah Rai can't directly turn right. It should turn left first then turn around in front of East Jakarta Imigration Office.
