March, Bintaro Flyover & Matraman Underpass Completed

Jakarta Bina Marga Dept. is targeting to finish the Bintaro Flyover project in South Jakarta and Matraman Underpass, East Jakarta in the upcoming March.

After we opened traffic of Cipinang Lontar Flyover, we also plan to open Bintaro Flyover and Matraman Underpass in mid-March

"After we opened traffic of Cipinang Lontar Flyover, we also plan to open Bintaro Flyover and Matraman Underpass in mid-March," expressed Yusmada Faizal, Head of Jakarta Bina Marga Dept., Tuesday (2/27).

Here Is Traffic Engineering During Bintaro Flyover Project

According to him, thus far, the Bintaro Flyover that takes 381 meters length and Matraman Underpass with 60 meters length has been ongoing well. After they operate, the Mampang-Kuningan Underpass in South Jakarta would be the next target. 

"We will finish this project in April," he explained.

He is also evaluating a number of underpasses and flyovers that have been operating to see their effectiveness in parsing traffic jam.

"Open traffic has been ongoing. And will be continued with inauguration of Mr. Governor later," he said.
