Petojo Selatan Residents Requesting JPO on Jalan Suryopranoto

Residents living in RW 07 Petojo Selatan Urban Village, Central Jakarta are requesting a pedestrian bridge (JPO) construction that connects their regions with Petojo Utara.

"Many children here. They are often crossing through Jalan Suryopranoto. Moreover it's prone to crowded by the passing vehicles," told Saiman (56), a Chairman of RW 07, Friday (3/2).

JPO in Mampang Prapatan Area must Be Propagated

When being confirmed, Gambir Sub-district Head, Fauzi stated his side had known the proposal and had been discussed in the sub-district-level Musrenbang yesterday, Thursday (3/1).

"JPO is very needed. Besides on Jalan Suryopranoto, there are also residents who propose the making of JPO in front of Tarakan Hospital and Jalan Veteran Raya," he said.

While Central Jakarta Mayor, Mangara Pardede promised to discuss it during the city-level Musrenbang with Jakarta Bina Marga Dept.

"We'll discuss it soon," he stressed.

Previously the Gambir Sub-district had held the sub-district-level Musrenbang with 420 proposals discussed.
