100 Productive Trees Planted in Sunter Utara Pump House

100 productive trees donated from an energy company are planted on the yard of the Sunter Utara pump house, Tanjung Priok, Friday (3/2).

This program could be achieved, as long as there is support of all elements. I urge all stakeholders and locals to support it

North Jakarta Mayor, Husein Murad appreciated the donation of the given tree. It is hoped that it could motivate other stakeholders to participate in a planting program of one million trees.

"This program could be achieved, as long as there is support of all elements. I urge all stakeholders and locals to support it," he expressed, Friday (3/2).

Since it was launched late last year until now, there are already tens of thousands of trees planted in North Jakarta. Most of them are from stakeholders and locals.

Tanjung Priok Urban Village Head, Ma'mun explained, trees that planted are mango, rambutan and sawo trees. Even locals could also utilize productive trees to be planted.

"Before tree planting, we will do gymnastics together. More than 200 residents participated here," he told.
